Pure Milk vs. Milk Shimmer vs. Pearl

"I don't know whether to go for pure milk, milk with shimmer, or pearl pigment! What's the difference?!"

I get asked this question on the daily, so thought this handy little blog might help explain the differences:

Pure Milk
This option is just your pure milk- with no pigment added. We keep the milk in its preserved white state & add it straight to your keepsake.

Milk with Shimmer
We mix your preserved milk with a little bit of shimmery pigment to give a gorgeous pearly shimmer & shine. This option doesn't add any colour to your milk, just gives a different, almost sparkly finish to your keepsake.

Pearl Pigment
Believe it or not- this is almost exactly the same as the 'Milk with Shimmer' option. Only, it doesn't contain milk. Our pearl pigment is a soft white shimmery pigment, perfect for adding to keepsakes that include cremation ash, pet fur, hair etc.
