our guarantee

We know how much these pieces mean to you, so we back every keepsake with a guarantee you can trust. That’s why every piece from The Spilt Milk Co. comes with our 12-month craftsmanship guarantee.

This guarantee is here to give you confidence from the moment you place your order, all the way through to wearing your jewellery. If something about the craftsmanship isn’t quite right within the first year, we’ll fix it.

What is covered

We’ll repair or replace your piece if you experience a genuine craftsmanship issue, such as:

  • Unexpected or unusual discolouration of the resin
  • Faults in the metalwork or structural elements
  • Resin curing issues that affect the look or integrity of the piece

If something isn’t how it should be, you can reach out and we’ll take care of it.

What’s not covered

To keep everything fair and transparent, the guarantee doesn’t cover:

  • Normal wear and tear from everyday use
  • Scratches, dents, or damage caused by impact
  • Discolouration from exposure to chemicals, products, or water
  • Issues that arise when care instructions haven’t been followed
  • Loss or theft
  • Stones or settings coming loose due to the keepsake being bent, or damaged through wear

These pieces are handcrafted and delicate, and they need a bit of love. Following the care guide helps keep them looking their best long-term.

How to make a claim

If you think something’s not right, just get in touch with us and include:

  • Your order name or number
  • A clear photo or video of the issue
  • A short explanation of what happened and when you first noticed it

We’ll review your message, let you know what the next step is, and guide you through the process. If it’s covered by the guarantee, we’ll repair or replace the piece as quickly as possible.

We’re here to support you

We know how important these keepsakes are. They hold stories, memories, losses, milestones, and they deserve to be treated with care. Our guarantee is simply our way of saying that you can trust us to look after your piece, long after you’ve opened the box.
